PCTEL is proud to offer Certified Public Safety Tester Training and BDA Testing Training on January 27-28 in Miami, FL.
Jan. 27: BDA Testing Training covers topics related to RF-based BDA commissioning tests, with specific attention to the use of PCTEL’s automated BDA commissioning testing solution. You’ll learn how to plan, execute, and submit required results from BDA commissioning tests using SeeHawk Touch software and PCTEL scanning receiver in concert with the SeeHawk Central automated workflow management platform. Includes hands-on demonstration in the use of PCTEL equipment. This training only covers the testing aspect of BDA commissioning. We recommend that anyone commissioning a BDA complete BDA/DAS Training and acquire NICET and/or ETA certification.
Jan. 28: PCTEL Certified Public Safety Tester Training provides hands-on training in the use of PCTEL’s Public Safety Testing Solution for grid-based in-building testing. You’ll learn how to use SeeHawk® Touch software and PCTEL scanning receiver in concert with the SeeHawk Central automated workflow management platform. You’ll also have the option for your company to be listed as a Certified Tester on our website upon successful completion.

What You’ll Need
- Up-to-date PCTEL public safety testing kit with P25 technology option, and a laptop for SeeHawk Central, is required to complete certification. If you don’t want to complete certification during the class, a kit is recommended but not required.
- BDA Commissioning Test Suite option is recommended, but not required.
- One kit may be shared by two registered trainees. We may also have a limited number of test kits available to borrow at in-person training events. Please provide details about your equipment needs when filling out this form to request registration.
Cost:
- FREE for government officials with relevant job duties (AHJs, Radio Systems, regulators)
- All others: $500 (both days included)
